Beat the Heat B+ Ride

On Saturday, June 29, please join us at 8:30 a.m. for B and B+ rides starting at Little Creek Reservoir Park. Head northwest to explore roads WAB does not frequent that often: Rockahock, Mt. Pleasant, Polish Town, and Holly Fork.
WATER STOP. About halfway, where Stage Rd. crosses Route 33, we will stop at the BP gas station just south of Stage and on the east side of 33.
PACE PROTOCOL. The first two Saturday morning rides in June were fast. The third ride (June 22) was more temperate, so we will employ the pace protocol Jim Day used that day:
- The ride's final average will be between 17 and 18 mph.
- We will ride about 17-18 mph on the flat, 18-19-20 when conditions are favorable (e.g., downhill). Participants are encouraged to ask the group to slow down.
Please pre-register for the ride. The ride will be canceled if the pavement is wet; if you are registered, you will receive an e-mail notification.
