Neighborhoods Ride
Reed & Karen Nester are continuing a series of easy and casual D-pace rides (10-12 mph) through local neighborhoods. These rides will be around 10 miles mostly on low-traffic neighborhood roads, and also on the Virginia Capital Trail and the Colonial Parkway. No one will be left behind.
We will meet at 10:00 am on Monday, August 2 at the Jamestown Settlement parking lot in the corner near the Virginia Capital Trail - look for Reed & Karen on their green tandem. Pre-registration is requested for everybody. To pre-register, click on the blue “Book this Event” button.
This 10.5 mile ride will tour the following neighborhoods: St. George’s Hundred, Jamestown Hundred, and First Colony. To connect the neighborhoods, we will ride the Powhatan Creek Trail and Virginia Capital Trail. There will a rest stop at Spoke & Art. Helmets are required, fancy bicycle clothing is not.
Any weather cancellation will be posted on the Message Board no later than 7:30 am Monday
