Weekly Friday Ride - Note 1 p.m. Start Time
- Launch at 1:00 p.m. from Williamsburg Community Chapel.
- Pre-registration required.
- After the ride, enjoy a snack or hot beverage at Spoke n' Art.
- Any cancellation will be posted by 7:30 a.m.
B+ Pace Protocol for This Ride Only
- WAB guidelines state that B+ rides are ridden at a pace of 16 to 18 mph.
- The leader will ride a maximum of 18 mph on flat terrain. The pace will be faster going downhill and slower going uphill.
- As long as participants are riding at a B+ pace, the ride is no-drop.
- Other participants may ride faster than the ride leader. If all of the other participants ride faster than 18 mph, then the ride leader will (try to) match their pace. Otherwise, the ride leader will maintain a B+ pace.
- Participants are encouraged to communicate with the ride leader about any aspect of the ride.
