Weekly Monday ride.
What could be more fun than playing poker while riding your bike?
Each rider will draw 5 cards during the ride; 1 at the beginning, 1 at the end and 3 other cards at designated stops along the route. Rider with the best hand wins the pot of gold and the winnings will be used to buy dessert (peach cobbler or brownie with ice cream) at Cul's to share with your friends. No running home with a fist full of cash. Should you wish to play, $2.00 cash will be collected at the beginning of the ride and kept in a secure place until the end of the ride. Playing cards will be supplied by the ride leader. Further details will be explained at the pre-ride safety talk. Come have some high-handed fun and you will be guaranteed a piece of the pie.
Launch at 10:00 a.m. from the Charles City Courthouse.
Pre-registration is required.
After the ride, enjoy lunch at Cul's Courthouse Grille.
