2023 Pedal the Parkway
Description
The National Park Service (NPS) at the Colonial National Historical Park and BikeWalk Williamsburg invite the public to celebrate National Park Week and National Bike Month by biking, walking, or jogging along a 7-mile portion of the Colonial Parkway May 5-7. The NPS will close the Colonial Parkway to vehicle traffic between Route 199/Kingspoint and Jamestown Settlement beginning at 7 pm Fri May 5 and ending at 6 pm Sun May 7. Portable restrooms and a handwashing station will be available at Archer’s Hope turn off, provided by a donation from BikeWalk Williamsburg. Indoor restrooms will be available at the Jamestown Island Visitors Center and at Jamestown Settlement Museum. Free parking is available at the Jamestown Settlement, 2110 Jamestown Rd and at the NPS Visitor Center on Jamestown Island.
